Hand Drawn Stylized Torch Flame - Game VFX

A quick cutesy torch fire, where the alpha of the fire was scribbled in marker then scanned and brought into Photoshop, for a stylized and hand-drawn feel.

The original flame silhouette sketches, drawn by hand with a marker.

Flames scanned and laid out onto a flipbook texture grid, with colour gradients added in Photoshop.

The final result in Unity, with some lighting and material adjustments made in engine.
